May all spouses find "the true light" hidden beneath these disguises in their spouses.
Jesus is the Giver of every good gift, even our next breath, and it is so very human for us to be distracted by His awesome, very tangible gifts, and miss the Giver.
May we seek with all our strength, through prayer and work, the Giver, his presence and action in our lives, so we may then use His gifts for the building up of our families, and the church.
Catechism of the Catholic Church:
"In the epiclesis of this sacrament the spouses receive the Holy Spirit as the communion of love of Christ and the Church. The Holy Spirit is the seal of their covenant, the ever available source of their love and the strength to renew their fidelity."
