"Holiness is to recognize the presence of Christ and follow Him."

Holiness is not “teary eyes”, always running in front of the icon of Our
Lady or reciting formulas. Holiness is to recognize the presence of Christ
and follow Him. Holiness coincides with accepting to change, and in order
to change it is necessary to follow Him, adhere to Him, be open to His action,
make no opposition to God. Our spirit requires time in order to enter this
true and finally authentic dimension of freedom, which is entering and following
what God does: that is, entering the circumstances of life.
